Montague, I feel anyway, is a clear favorite in D6. I'm guessing they get by Lakeview fairly easily, maybe have a little challenge with Sanford Meridian, and then head North to take on a tough Calumet team. After that....it is the winner of the Ithaca St Charles rematch which could be interesting and then MSMCC in the Finals. Montgaue has a ton of weapons on Offense and a D1 caliber QB distributing the ball to them. Most teams are going to have a hard time defending this Montague Offense. And you'll notice when the Gue played in bad conditions, on a sloppy field, the Defense rose to the occasion and shut the other team out. Well Coached, lots of weapons, and Montague kids live for Football = hard team to beat.

Ravenna gets a young Saugatuck team at home in round 1. Ravenna is better than they were last year..... and I doubt Saugatuck can say the same. Saugatuck has a handful of good sized kids, but like I said, is young with only 10 Seniors and 3 Juniors! In round 2 Ravenna likely travels to Potterville in what might be an interesting game. Potterville beat 8-1 D5 Laingsburg, as well as 7-2 D8 Fulton during the regular season. If the Bulldogs survive this challenge they should get what might amount to an easier game in the Regional maybe against the likes of a Whittemore Prescott and nice warm up for TCSF in the Semi Final. I've heard this is the best TCSF team ever, and people must be basing this on the # of D1 players on the roster. Ravenna may not have a single D1 player, but returned a lot too, and should be able to give TCSF a game. I'm thinking the winner of this game gets Hudson or Mendon in the Final. The Semi Finals and Final should be good games in D7 this year!

Oakridge gets a rematch with Heights in round 1. This game has lost some of it's luster with both teams losing some games along the way. Oakridge lost three games all to spread teams, and Heights hasnt seemed to play like they were early in the season for some reason. Flip a coin in this one. Playing on the turf might favor Heights speed, but Oak is used to playing on Turf at Home. Should be a competitve game, and the winner likely takes on Morley Stanwood in round 2, a team either should be able to beat. Kelloggsville should be waiting in the regional and this isnt the same Kelloggsville team from a year ago as they found a QB. Decent sized kids, Chris Brown running the ball, and Roscoe throwing it makes this a challenging game. Winner here gets to take on the winner of the Jackson Lumen Madison Heights Madison game and thats where I think the run ends this year.
Does North Muskegon really want to play another game? went from 5-1 to 5-4 in an hurry and it wasnt pretty. The Norse gave up big time rushing yards in those three losses and now will have to take on 9-0 Morley Stanwood and their wing-t offense. The CSAA conference is no WMC. So I wouldnt be surprised if North Muskegon pulled this one off, but I'm thinking Morley will be able to do what they like to and thats run the Football. North Muskegon is a young team and will be back in the mix next year.
Thoughts?
