North Muskegon has been playing with Heart, and did a good job of containing Whitehall's running game. The Norse have surprised me thus far, and will have a shot in this game, but that Oakridge win over a good Ravenna team makes me think they aren't as "down" as some think. Potts win's the QB battle (which might eb a good one) and the Eagles win 28 - 21
RAVENNA ( 4 - 2 ) v. Hart ( 1 - 5 )
After back to back frustrating weeks for Ravenna, in comes Hart. Bulldogs win big 42 - 0
SHELBY ( 3 - 3 ) v. Montague ( 6 - 0 )
Even though Shelby is 3-3 , two of the losses are by a combined 8 points. The Shelby Defense is playing well this year giving up under 13 points a game. Montague is in the drivers seat and has a favorable schedule to finish 9-0. Cant afford a let down here. Cats win 42-21
WHITEHALL ( 2 - 4 ) v. Mason County Central ( 2 - 4 )
As long as teams can put everyone in the box, and load up to stop the run against this Whitehall team, they may struggle to score points, And Mason County usually plays Whitehall tough. In Mason County's 4 game losing streak they have given up an average of 37 points a game. Good news for MCC is that in Whitehall's 4 losses they have only scored 12 a game. Even though I'm tempted to pick MCC, if the Vikes can complete 4 or 5 passes early, and loosen up that Defense, they should be able to win this game. Whitehall 22 Mason County 20.
