What a thrilling first high school football game experience for the grandson tonight. CHS lead 10 - zip at the half. Troy received the second half kickoff and a RB had a nice run up the middle and then broke to the right (oops grandson had to hit the john but did see the TD run or I would say how far the run was). Troy then scored two TDs to take a 21 - 10 lead. Very early in the 4th quarter the Colt fans do an overrated cheer to motivate our players. Clarkston then proceeded to march down the field and scored on a Bender TD run. CHS was successful on a two point conversion pass to make the score Colts 21 - 18. CHS then INT'd the Troy QB at the Troy 44.The Wolves then marched down the field in 9 plays added by a pass interference call against Troy to make the score Wolves 25 - Colts 21. The Wolves pooched kick it once again and the Colts were 4 and out starting on the 37. The Wolves punted the ball into the endzone from the 37. The Wolves then went into prevent defence only the Colts proceeded to march down the field. Luckily the Wolves picked off a pass in the endzone with around 18 seconds remaining in the game. So it was a very exciting game for the grandson to watch.
