Preseason predictions for the west:
1. Grand Blanc (but not by much) 2. Howell 3. Brighton 4. Milford 5. Hartland 6. Pinckney Top 3 will make the playoffs, but no one will make a run (typical for this division for the near future). Grand Blanc has the talent to make a run and dominate this division (and be a perennial powerhouse in the KLAA), but their coaching holds them back. ![]() |

I was expecting more Howell votes ...
Howell appeared to be much better than Grand Blanc last year and it seems like Howell is bringing back some quality players as well ... That being said ... it's tough to go against the Bobcat's potential ... they could possibly have the most firepower of any team in Michigan come 2009, ... but that defense does worry me until they prove they can stop quality opponents ... but after some thought I went to Grand Blanc in a close one over Howell..... predicting that the defense will improve just enough for 7-8 wins and a KLAA West crown... It looks like the KLAA West will be playing some quality football this fall! |

Toughest division by far in the KLAA. Grand Blanc sure has the skill to walk away with it but the old KVC still has some bite. Remember, GB's season last
year started with a loss to the old KVC (Lakeland) and ended with a loss to the old KVC (Hartland). The thing is, Grand Blanc doesn't need reminding. They
will be focused and they are loaded.
