What's with Melvindale A.B.T and Redford Covenant?
First, most of the summer, for week 1 A.B.T. was scheduled (per MHSAA) to play Detroit Southwestern (and this was long before the coaching fiasco at Southwestern)
Then, later, A.B.T. was schedule to play at Flint Northern in week 1.
Also, Redford Covenant was scheduled to play at Ecorse in week 1.
Then 2 days before the season begins, suddenly the schedules change and Flint Northern plays at Ecorse (which won it's first varsity football game in 4 seasons 13-12 over Northern!!!!)
Are either A.B.T. or Covenant going to field teams this year? Covenant was also supposed to host Webberville in week 2, but Webberville will now be playing at Kent City in week 2 (Kent City had an opening when Wyoming Tri-unity Christian folded). A.B.T. has not had a week 2 game scheduled (at least not according to MHSAA)
Also, on MHSAA master schedule links, there is no such link to Redford Covenant: it just comes up error.
