All-Searn Hall of Fame Posts: 6671 06/11/09 2:42 PM MHSAA Football Stats	Tags : None Alabama is being forced to vacate 21 wins including some under Nick Saban: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4250596 Florida State is still appealing Bobby Bowden's wins. Florida is claiming the NCAA is violating state law even if they are a private organization. I wish that the NCAA would take the state of Florida over this because there is no way that state law should prevail in this case based on the Boy Scout case. Junior Posts: 99 06/11/09 5:40 PM	Alabama might not have to vacate as many as 21 games. Also, all 12 wins from last season remain intact. The vacated wins are only from 2005-2007 (two wins in 2007 are safe for sure because players involved were kicked off before those two wins). At least no postseason bans or scholarship losses are seen. This affects nearly the entire athletic program. In addition to football, the programs receiving penalties are men's and women's basketball, softball, baseball, women's gymnastics, men's and women's golf, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field, women's soccer and women's volleyball.

All-Searn Hall of Fame Posts: 6673 06/11/09 7:27 PM MHSAA Football Stats	The new case also reopens the five-year repeat violator window. I hope that the NCAA finally does something to repeat violators like they did SMU (death penalty). The NCAA hasn't had the guts to hand out real sanctions for a long time now. Tennessee's new coach has had several NCAA violations already, but nothing done about it yet. It seems that the NCAA turns a blind eye to the SEC teams.
