#1/#20: This one I could go either way ... I want a LT and a LB.
I would be pleased if they got the top LT with the #1 pick and then perhaps Maualuga or Laurinaitis with the #20 pick. ... or the other way around with Curry at #1 and possibly OT Michael Oher at #20.
Round Two (One Pick)
Thinking a lot of defense ... I want to go DT , but it seems like any potentially available DT is not of value at this spot.... so let's go with a local boy in DE Connor Barwin
Round Three (Two Picks)
More defense
Ron Brace, DT, Boston College
Jairus Boyd, CB, Oregon
Round Four (No picks)
Round Five (No Picks)
Rounds 6 and 7 .... If a QB like Rhett Bomar or Nate Davis falls this far ... it's worth a shot. ... if not take the best defensive players available. ...

Which is the best way to
build a winner? It depends on who you ask, writes Steve Wyche, as some teams focus on the draft, others fill needs via free agency or
trades.
