Since an ESPN writer ripped on the Big 10 for its non conference slate, I am going to rip on the SEC. First, the Big 10 plays more road non conference games than the SEC does even if there is one less team in the league. Plus the SEC plays more non D1A teams this year as well. So talk about playing a weak non conference schedule, the SEC could be argue certainly has it easier this fall during the non conference football games than the Big 10 based on those 2 critertia.

N-C games have become terrible almost across the board these days, and the SEC is among the worst offenders overall.
The big schools have become so greedy $$$$$ in trying to secure 7-8 home games per season that they'd schedule Wayne State if they could.
