I'd rather everyone in the Lions front office spent all their time fixing the team and not worrying about changing something that doesn't need to be changes. Usually when they mess with the unis, they make worse unis.

The change of the logo is so minor, that I don't really see the point ... . looks like they changed it for the sake of making a change. If you actually want to change the logo that's one thing ... but it looks like someone just took a white marker and drew some lines on the old logo. .... And I'm not sure why they insist on the black being involved.

Go back to the Herman Moore, Chris Speilman, Barry Sanders era uniforms. Win some games, maybe even a playoff game, and you'll be surprised how shiny, new, and slick that old uniform and logo will start to look.

If you think this is ugly, then you should have the same opinion about the two previous iterations as well. Not much change really. Just a bad attempt at modernization. However, that shouldn't necessarily preclude an opinion against changes in general. That's where I am at. Leave it alone I say. I'm a traditionalist. If ANYTHNG, just darken up the blue a bit like the old throwbacks. The Red Wings uniforms looked like crap during the Ned Harkness years. Now they are the Tuxedo of the NHL. The difference? Winning.

I'm along the lines of keeping a mostly traditional look. On the same topic somewhat .... I was on the WLW website and noted 9 uniforms(home and away) as well as 9 different helmets used in the past 35 years.

All-Area Posts: 177 03/28/09 9:07 AM	Searn that WLW website is awesome, probably the best that I have seen for a HS football team. As far as the Lions uniforms I wish they would wear the throwbacks exclusively, those are by far my favorite Lions uniform.
