First off, I will say props to Inkster for scheduling such a big school once again..I know Inkster's pop has gone way up...But it is nice to see them
schedule a school that is more than double their size..
Also, as Searn mentioned..Huge props to the OK conference for doing what they do best.. |

How come this game doesn't appear anywhere officially. It appears based on forum chatter that the game is on, but has a contract been signed?

East Kentwood has the ability to beat Caledonia. Caledonia is a much better TEAM than EK, but last year Caledonia had a hard time stopping EK's speed. This
game could really go either way. However, Caledonia will see a lot more success with their season, win or lose. The Inkster game is another tossup. Yes,
Inkster is very talented, but you have to wonder how well they'll do going up against a much larger (numbers) and possibly faster team that's also much
more battle tested. Very interesting matchup. Inkster will be favored due to recent success, but I wouldn't be too shocked if EK pulled off the
"upset".
With the Grandville-Grand Ledge game, I feel pretty confident Grandville can win it. Last year's undefeated GL team was very very overrated, squeaking by a down CAAC and pulling off a miracle comeback OT win against 4-5 Grandville. They then get absolutely annihilated by Rockford in the playoffs. Now they're without their best player. Game is at GL but the trend with this rivalry seems to be the away team always wins. Now we have Hudsonville. Normally a local powerhouse team that does very well in the O-K Red and competes against the likes of Lowell and Muskegon in the playoffs every year. Hudsonville fans would disagree, but this will be a down year for them, so their timing for scheduling these powerhouse non-conference teams couldn't be worse. Lake Orion and DCC should both win fairly easily, especially considering it'll be the first two games for a young Hudsonville team. Rockford lost some key talent from last year's team but considering the circumstances of the two teams they're playing, I get the feeling they'll do quite well. Davison brings in a new coach this year, one that I was never impressed with, and I have no doubt Rockford will take it to them. Holt had a down year last year, who knows why, but I just feel confident Rockford will win with ease. |

I'm not sure it speaks for the whole fan base ... but I think the few Hville fans we have on here will actually agree with you that they could have a down
year coming up.
