Multiple Finals Appearances |
Lead | ||
|
It's been ten years since the MHSAA established the new eight division format for the football playoffs. Which teams during that ten year span have the
most appearances in the championship game? Rockford? Farmington Hills Harrison? Or, a smaller school like Mendon or Beal City? Nope. None of those
traditional powers top the list. Take a guess, then do some research to find the answer. Or, better yet, go to www.prepseer.com for a complete list of teams with multiple appearances during the past ten years.

Yes, they had AA, A, BB, B, etc. but when they went to Divisions 1-8, they also changed the format for the playoffs--allowing 256 teams in with 6 wins. This
format has been in existence only for ten years.
