Coach leaving, will this end up helping the program grow, or will it drop them out of contention for the league title, or what's left of it.

Not a good situation for the Cranes - Gerson was a good coach. It will be hard to replace him and his offensive insight.
But Cranbook could use another defensive coordinator - That cover 2 never looked good. |

Do you think Gerson maxed out what that place can be?

No - the talent pool hasn't been as good as in recent years. Cranbrook always had great QB's and solid linemen, they havent had either of those lately.

gerson will definitely be missed, but itll be interesting to see what new looks they come out in next season. the spread was starting to get old, and was
always predictable.

well that new offense they showed against Westland didn't look that good at all either. At least Cranbrook doesn't have to play the powerhouse teams
like Westland and Northwest anymore. That should help them out... huh?

It appears that Cranbrook hired an OLSM assistant coach. Has a nice resume, played in the Rose Bowl for Michigan State in 1988. From what I have been told, he
wants to run the football. Does that mean Cranbrook will try power football? I don't see it, their OL is their weakest attribute. I hope for Cranbrook sake
he tries to keep them spread out a little bit and uses his skill players. What are everyone's thoughts?

Cranbrook hasn't run a smash mouth style of ball since the early 90's when they ran the Maryland I. They don't have the personnel to do that now.
Plus they had a lot of seniors on a sub-par team. It could get very ugly for them next year! |
