Congrats to Willie Snead for winning the coach of the year honors on here. I'm wondering how good his team will be next year without the QB coming back.
I have always wondered what took Holland Christian so long to form a football team. They've had several good boys basketball teams in the past that were
ranked in the AP top 10. Sometimes the boys basketball team had a "tough draw" since 3 Class B AP top 10 teams were in the AP poll. So a sleeping
giant has awoken from the deep sleep in football.

Willie Snead's son will be moving from WR to QB to replace Westendorp, I believe.

Willie Snead IV was the back-up qb this season as a sophomore, so it is probably a very good bet he will be following Westendorp. Replacing him might be quite a bit tougher. And they lose a pretty good receiver when they make the switch. Next year will definitely present some new wrinkles for Coach Snead III, and I'm sure there will be some teams waiting to see them again without Westendorp. |

I think they will slip significantly. AJ was the a huge factor in thier success. What made a largest difference this year is Westendorps ability to avoid
trouble and turning over the ball... his decision making as well as his athletic ability. His arm was terrific, but his ability to avoid the turnovers and keep
moving the sticks was what made the difference in big games like the GRCC one. I was on the filed for the GRCC/ HC game. He is one of a kind. And Snead the
forth isn't nearly as big and strong. My guess is that they will be good, but not as good as this year. We shall see... just my 2 cents!
