For day one it appears to be 29,188 for the 4 games. Can day two top this?

I would say yes. Rockford will bring 6,000 or 7,000 on their own. Plus with Inkster and LO within close proximity to Ford Field I would think today's games
will draw 30,000+.

MrNCAA, was the day 1 attendance up or down from last year? Same question for Day 2 when you get those numbers, thanks.

Last years day 1 figure was 30760. So attendance was down slightly.

Wow the odd number divisions finals attendance was a whopping 37,042. I'm not postive, but this could be a one day record since that would be 74K+ over 2
days. The total for the 8 games was 66,230. If I divided it by 4 for a Pontiac Silverdome comparison, this would mean 16,557.5 per session under the old 2
sessions per day method.

That's pretty amazing considering the second day featured only one Detroit area team with a respectable following. I was amazed at the number of Inkster
fans who bailed and went home, well before the game was over. At the end, there were only parents left to cheer for their effort. And, don't give me
"it was late". It was Saturday night at 10:00 and they had a 20 minute drive to get home! That was a shame....for the kids. Alternatively, the amount
and resilience of the Ovid-Elsie fans was impressive. Also, the fact that CFFP can bring more fans 500 miles to Ford Field than a local team (and I'm
comparing not only Inkster, but OLSM and even FHH the year before) may speak to why the west side swept this year!
