Regional assigned sites |

I was wondering if anybody could cook up a list of potential Regional matchups that would invoke the 200-mile rule and have the MHSAA assign a game site. That
way we'd just have the list here to look over and would know it's coming.

Searn despite the email the other day, it is still screwed up on here so only bbcode post editor wants to work once again for me.
It appears to me that D4 - D8 region 1's would have the rule invoked since that will involve a western UP team with a LP team or eastern UP team. D3 could be close with Petoskey vs. EGR (would have to plug in specific addresses) based on how far it is from my house to the Big Mac Attack.

Mr NCAA wrote: I was thinking a list on here might be handy. It also would draw attention to the specific match-ups, because you know people will start to ask questions about why it's happening and how it works later on. It'll also help visualize what's at stake in terms of the availability of game sites. |

Mr NCAA wrote: It's not the list you wanted, apple, but I was curious about this one (for selfish reasons). I plugged the addresses into Google Maps. From Petosky High School to East Grand Rapids High School is 190 miles. |

Anyone know of a turf field available below the bridge? Around the Petoskey area? Match-up is GR Catholic Central vs Kingsford. Talked to AD at 8:30 pm Sat. and nothing is set yet. Google maps would suggest Appleton Wisconsin with us taking the ferry. Is it still running at this time of year. Road trip is bad enough, but the "gales of November…" |

I can't find an UP one other than the Yooper Dome for the game. I haven't check on CMU as a possibility for this weekend either. I would imagine that
it should be one of the two or it will be at Gaylord.
I didn't plug in the official addresses for St. Iggy and CFFP, but that should be over the 200 mile range by a tad and the MHSAA has CFFP as the home team for that particular game.

Gaylord and Grayling are both listed as grass. The distance to St Ignace is 228 miles - do they have turf? We'd like the best surface preferably. (All things considered for actual game would be the YD, but the trip is daunting.) |

St. Iggy has grass as well as all the UP teams do that I checked on. YooperDome and CMU are free for Saturday though. I know that Gaylord has grass as well.
So does Cheboygan which has been a semifinal location as well.

Don't really see that CMU will be possible as it is too close (in out direction), I'll pass it on. Thanks. We've got some people familiar with the Traverse City area making inquiries, maybe there is something that has been overlooked. (Note to Searn - The link to the http://mifbstadium.com/ is not working, can't find server) |

If you need the link:
http://www.mihsfbstadium.com/ aowwt hasn't updated a couple of stadium locations that I've asked for him to update though in Davison and Romeo. |

The MHSAA now has 4 such games on their website - what I initially projected with D3 to check out (which was at 190 miles so not too bad for not plugging in
the official addresses). I would imagine that the Yooperdome will get 3 or 4 of those.
