Already it appears nobody is giving Lakeland a chance in this one. I think Lakeland is in over their head too, but what do others think?

Frankie Popp and Brother Rice should defeat Lakeland..however it will not be easy. Lakeland is a strong team that has a chance of beating a team like Bro Rice.
I'll take BR in a extremely close game.

Lakeland doesn't stand a chance, a team who can't beat Howell has no chance against a dominant team like Brother Rice.

Lakeland was very close to beating Howell, and if it wasn't for the penalties calling back over 100 yards of offense they very well might have. Lakeland
will keep this one close for as long as they can, and they have a CHANCE however i'll take Rice by 17

I don't know enough about BR to say anything about them. I do, however, have first hand knowledge of Lakeland's history against CHSL teams and it is
not pretty. This game wont be either, sorry eagles.

I would love to sit here and say Lakeland wins in a close one, but having seen BR play in past games and knowing a decent amount of information about the
program. It would be very impressive to see Lakeland win this, they will keep it close early but I look to see BR pull away by the 3rd Quarter. Rice by 14.

in my mind.... lakeland could pull of the upset... they have all the workings of it being a home game and great coaches and several players who many never play
again, so they will be playing their hardest and best. granted they are in a different league but lakeland has scored more points and let in less. so i want to
say lakeland by 3 or 4.
but, ask kingduece said lakeland has a terrible track record against catholic league teams....0-1. im still undecided about this game.... ill leave my final prediction tomorrow. go eagles. and no Colonel, This is also my only account. |

accusatory jab at the Lakeland faithful! Clearly i'm not on your experience level with these online blogs, stacking up the numbers you've out posted me
