An alternative would have both Allendale and Wyoming Kelloggsville going SW.

Actually there were changes in D5. You did do my Thumb area recommendation last week. So why revert back? Plus Muskegon Oakridge could be placed with
Kingsley. Wyoming Kelloggsville (an alternative would be Allendale going SW) could go with the SW schools then. This would free up Battle Creek Pennfield to
be place with Hillsdale, JLC, and Onsted. Portland would be with Stanton Central Montcalm and the other GR area schools.

EastGuRu wrote:EastGuRu, I almost put St. Joe and Lakeshore with ZE and (probably) GRC; and EGR with Lansing area teams. Charlotte kept me from it. You're right, if ZE doesn't stick around, or some other GR/K'zoo teams step up, there might have to be some combination of the SW powers and the GR-area in a single district. |

In D6 Kalamazoo Christian would be purple. The GR area team would be white. Then, I would probably have a couple of changes in the SE corner of the D6 map
as well (Clinton and Whitmore Lake gold).

I know from some WC fans perspective that they would like to see some new faces, getting 'tired' of Allendale & Oakridge in the first rounds. Also the proposed district would likely keep away from a long trip to the UP. Just more fun to meet them at Ford Field than in week one or two. Seriously if both teams were healthy a WC vs Allendale state final would be a distinct possibility. Don't know the chances of any returnees. Posted in OK thread that the winner of an Oakridge, Allendale, & WC district (which has happened) would be a favorite for the finals. |

It's way too late now to make any difference, but it's my sense on the current D7 map that although your Districts are right, the blue and purple pins
would be more likely to be formed into a Region, and the orange and green pins would be grouped into a Region. I didn't notice that until just now.

applefan84 wrote:apple, Yeah, I can understand your thinking. Looking at the overall impact though, I think only the blue region really benefits from the change (in terms of shortening travel to the other district in the region). Purple and orange remain about the same. Brown, green and white increase travel. It's never to late to talk about it, but you're right, it is too late for me to change it. |

So Searn can't gain on my post count until after the playoffs are over, I'll weight in. I like it as it was.
