Hamtramck used to be a power in the conference until they instituted that gosh-darned eligibility standard back in 2000.

Yeah I wouldn't say they were a powerhouse but had some nice teams in 97 -98 with Aaron Brock at RB and that big DE that played basketball at EMU. They
were hard to stop. Yeah that 1.75 GPA really killed them.
