Kyle Podvin starting slot and cornerback for Milford Mavericks has accumulated 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions in the first 2 games of the season leading milford to a 21-7 victory over Novi and a 40-14 victory over South Lyon. Safe to say he should at least be on the polls for best player especially when hes averaging 10 tackles a game as a corner back. He also plays quarterback and has thrown for over 100 yards on this season with only 3 attempts.

Podvin definitely has some impressive stats against traditionally good programs. It will be interesting to see if he can sustain this kind of production as the
season wears on. Although, I'm not sure what a cornerback getting ten tackles a game says about Milford defensively. But then again they have only allowed
three touchdowns scored thus far.

Methinks someone is trying too hard to hype him up. You can ask statman24, he is not getting 10 tackles per game. And, he only has 2 picks (still very
good stat in only 2 games). Regardless, he is a fine DB.
