It will be interesting to see if Christian can get into the mix here. Football may not be the best sport to judge how competitive the Eagles will be in
the OK White in all sports. Christian will probably be a title threat in basketball (boys & girls), baseball, and track.
For football: They do have good running backs, but I believe they have to develop a qb. They seem to have some good kids coming up also. They seem to be building a large coaching staff that seems to be paying dividends at the lower levels. We'll have to watch and see if they can equal Caledonia's success. I'd pick them for third. The other City League team to make the move to the White is Creston. All I've heard is that the program is in flux and could go either way. Creston athletes seem to want to concentrate on basketball, so it's up to the coach to see if he can reverse that trend. |
