While some of the Mlive pundits dispute Searn's preseason 32 it was a great discussion starter. Note that those who mock another for making a prediction often are too timid to make their own. That said, this poster is an example of what passes for prediction wisdom on Mlive (Warning: Make sure to have a paper bag handy to stop your hyperventilation from laughing)

Too funny. I just read Pendy's brand of crap. Nice job nailing him yet again in his lies, I was going to do the same thing.

Or, it could be, as numerous posters suggested, he is mentally unstable, not in equilibrium with his prescription medication, etc.

Personally, I think he he is an attention starved vvhore just like JF is/was. For that matter, given all his aliases in the past, it could even be The Numbnuts.

Pendykope.....what a putz.

btw. Pissant Pendy does the same thing every year. Says the same thing on the MI HS FB East Forum, and also the HS Hockey Forum. He has been caught lying, with documented evidence, from those posters as well, but he continues his inane posting. All the more reason to pity, loathe, and ignore him.

I have no problem admitting to when I'm wrong. So he should have said yes I predicted 1 W only for DCC and be done with it. But then again how many other people expected DCC to win only 1 game this fall?

True dat Searn. Pendy DOES have a historically good record. In fact had you bet against all of his predicted CC losses, hockey or FB, you'd have enough to send the kids to college, move to the Upper East Side, and "...be on a beach collecting 20%"

It is amazing the BS people will say or post when they think no one is going to call them out for it.

I think you are going to end up pretty accurate on your CHSL Central Division predictions. I think the Rice/U-D game and the OLSM/DC game will not be as close as you think. Also, CC/NDP will probably be around a 3-point game. The teams are really quite even.

Thank you for taking time to respond. The fact of the matter is that I did a little more research after my original prediction. BiasedGuy knows this as well. We had an exchange about why my prediction changed so quickly. Of course, he'll probably accuse me of "lying" again.

As for my 3-win prediction, it still could be accurate as I think that either NDP or DC could definitely beat CC.

I didn't say that CC beating NDP would be an upset. In fact, I said that CC would PROBABLY win the game. Certainly, CC is the favorite. I never said otherwise. Unfortunately, you have stooped to the level of many other posters by mischaracterizing my posts so as to induce ridicule.

What I said in my original post is that CC needs to be careful because this game could be an upset. CC has more depth, but NDP is the bigger and faster team. I could be very close coming down the stretch in teh 4th quarter.

It should be a very competitive and close game. However, I wouldn't call it a great rivalry. These two programs don't have too much of a history, and most of their past games have been mismatches. Also, while I'd agree with you about the NDP's size and speed superiority, I wouldn't necessarily say that they are also the more cerebral team. Coach Mach and CC always coach a very cerebral and disciplined team. I've rarely seen a CC team lose because of intangibles. CC teams lose because they lack the talent on the field, and this game is no exception. It's just that while NDP maybe the more talented team, they suffer from a serious lack of depth.
