I've been looking, but has seen the basic same ol same ol.....Im trying to find a different "eagle" helmet logo....If you could post some, that would be cool.....Not a fan of the NFL eagles helmet or the typical ugly eagle that is common on helmets these days..

These 2 are out of the question

Personally I like the "old school" helmets ...

Such, as plain with a stripe ... maybe a number on the side. ... stuff like that.

It shouldn't be hard to find examples, Eagles might be the most common mascot of all.

Here are all the "Eagles" helmets in college football (that actually have an Eagle on them, and NOT the logo you said are out), starting with Division 1-AA (since there are no "Eagles" with eagle logos in 1-A):

(Eastern Washington)

(NC Central)

(Morehead State)

Division II

(Ashland)

(Minnesota-Crookston)

(Clarion)

Division III

(Wisconsin-LaCrosse)

And here are all the "Eagles" in Michigan HS football, same criteria:

(Engadine)

(Linden)

(Muskegon Oakridge)

(Olivet)

(Utica Eisenhower)

Grand Valley State - NATIONAL CHAMPS AGAIN! ('02 '03 '05 '06 baby!)

I like the Linden one myself. Though if it had an H on it would be awesome for Hudsy.

Interesting, TZ, that doesn't look a whole lot different than the first one you said was out of the question. I guess a slight tweak and the right color scheme makes a big difference.

Here are some I liked simply "Googling" the phrase "eagle logo." Sorry about the size, fellas.

Get rid of the words, of course.

Crop the scales and gavel, of course.

And there's a ton more. I'll leave it to you to search for others.

TOMMY, You looking for this logo for a youth team you coach? Or being the Mega Guru that you are, are you affiliated with any of the three Mega Eagle teams?

Just being nosey over a coupla' cups of Saturday AM java.

By the way, I am trying to help you by finding the 'Screaming Eagles' logo from 'Minnesota State University' but no luck so far.

BG, it looks like you may have to consult Craig T Nelson for that kind of info. Funny enough that wasn't even his first role as a football coach, he was also the head coach for Ampipe in All the right moves. I can't imagine a worse football team than Tom Cruise and Chris Penn as the standouts, the only thing that could make that movie even more laughable and unrealistic is if Chris's brother Sean was the QB, because you know he is one of our finest actors and... cue fake applause!

I think it really looks a lot different..To me it looks like a screaming mean eagle, while the first one just looks horrible...These 2 above though are real cool...Thanks......If you have some free time sometime, we should get together and gab about some football over some "pop"

Searn, your last post gave me an idea for a topic - List of famous (or not so famous) fictional fb teams.

btw. At one time there was no MN State college, but now there is some small extension college listed as Minnesota State - followed by some Native American sounding town name.

How's that for inane minutiae?

There's a Minnesota State-Moorhead and a Minnesota State-Mankato. MSU-Mankato is actually hosting the Division II Indoor Track Nationals this weekend...

Actually drove through MSU-Mankato last summer, as I headed to Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall for a Northwoods League exhibition. Hated that 14-hour drive though....
