MCC? Really? Wow. Dont let the 6-3 record fool you. A D7 team that played 5 class B schools.....should be pretty tough against other D7 teams.
But hey, you never know. I was leaning towards Nouvel myself. |

All things considered, Muskegon is in the most danger. I do think that New Lothrup - my vote - and Saginaw Nouvel are more likely to stumble early. Both are on the road and have two 9-0 teams in their districts. |

I'm predicting New Lothrop to win on Friday. First reason is that they played an all Class C schedule while Webberville only played 4 such teams. Second
reason is look at Webberville opponents won loss record compared to New Lothrop's. New Lothrop has faced much tougher competition game in, game out.

I'm going with New Lothrop. Webberville's been tough all year. Their victory against a pretty good Leslie team put me in their direction.

The poll has officially closed now. So everyone can see the results. New Lothrop came in first followed by Saginaw Nouvel.

Both Saginaw Nouvel and the National League won tonight so we'll see how the other games turn out this week.

Well since both New Lothrop & Muskegon lost big tonight (rd. 2) I guess this poll is officially decided. Dakota, Nouvel, ZW, EGR & MCC all winning. |

I voted for Saginaw Nouvel for what it is worth. They had a tough game last week and then won in overtime tonight.
I'm surprised that Muskegon lost, but what's up over on the west side of the state since South Haven killed their first round opponent during the regular season as well who in return trashed them in the playoffs? It must be something in the water or something over there since those are two huge turnaround games. |

Sometimes people forget just how much of a Game it is, and with high school kids 'Momentum' can be overwhelming. Way too many factors in these games for us to talk as if they really settle anything. Quote of the day on Excite.com I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it. - Thomas Jefferson Quote is very true in football, but the thing is oblong, and does bounce funny… Even the play-offs have a little 'mythical' component to them. |

In hindsight it shouldnt have been hard to predict a Hudsonville victory in the re-match. Muskegon had lost to Rockford, a team Hudsy beat and then struggled
big tinme against Ottawa Hills.
Hudsy'd Coach is too good not to look at those two game films and figure out the weaknesses in Muskegon's Defense. Now what Hudsonville's Defense did last night WAS harder to predict. D1 and D2 are now officially wide open! |
