Wow, now even more confusing for the average person who really isn't into this stuff.

Gotta stick with the basics for the masses... as far as we are concerned there are 3 types of fields.

Astro Turf - the old carpet stuff
Field Turf - the new infill turf
Natural Grass - yep

Start calling some types of Field Turf ... Astro Turf ... oh boy, get ready for some strange looks.

Well according to the website for GSV its now called Astro Turf on Martin Luther King, East Kentwood, amoung others. So you either have to call it by its brand name or just use the industry standard of Infilled Turf. Take your pick.

	OK Conference Coverage, Predictions, and Standings at Searn Football
	Need to find a facility or find infomation about a facility for High School Football in the State of Michigan. Come to Michigan High School Stadium Site for a visit and to find the info you are looking for.

South-Central Mich.

I wanted to add another Infill plan. This time at my alma mater, Richland Gull Lake. A couple of parents in the district are raising the funds to bring the Infill system to the football and a new soccer field. New bleachers at the complex will also be in the $1.7 million project. The school board is giving them until June to have it in by the beginning of this year. If not, it will be in 2009 for sure. As of right now, the fundraiser is a several thousands short of of reaching their goal (as of late April)...

Bring back my show, "The Arena", to Battle Creek, please!!! Call my boss!

wow not bad. I remember when Forest Hills Central put theirs in. It was not talked about and I only noticed it later on when I started the site. I was at the stadium the year they just put it in. It looked so natural it was amazing. The interesting thing is that they too had the boosters put it in place. That allowed FHC to have a second infilled field placed when they redid FHN and put in FHE.

Since no one is really putting in the old carpet stuff anymore ... I have found lately just saying a school is putting in "turf" usually gets the message across, as I think people now assume it's "Field Turf" or for those who don't follow it at all "the stuff they have at Ford Field"
