i honestly think we will be fine our jv didnt have much talent because all of our stars wer on varsity we are a young team with good athletes just a bit under
sized

livonia stevenson (=) austin white will run wild all season
novi (=) has potential to be good but quarterback situation is scary, i think their best shot at winning is with tim hartland at qb northville (+) has good players coming up from jv, weddles a beast south lyon (-) cant see them doing better this year without baskin south lyon east (+) the only way to go is up for them |

seanlatrell: u say that SL's JV sucked becuz your stars were on varsity. That's not a good sign for your "stars" who didn't really play
well last year. It's gonna be a rough year for you guys.
klaafan: I agree that Hartland may be the best shot for Novi to win, but Hartland belongs at RB where he and Nogami would be lethal. Jimmy Gurney could keep the chains moving at QB. My conscience tells me that Hartland eventually wins the QB job though. |

not sure who this seanlatrell is but there were no sophomores playing on South Lyon's varsity team last year. At least according to their program.

Hartland playing rb? Thats rediculous. Pitcher will be the starter and Nogami will get carries to spell him because Pitcher will go both ways. Hartland is not
a running back im not quite sure what makes you think he would be lethal.

there were soph's up at east, but none at The South Lyon |

none of the south lyon jv got pulled up last year till the last game vs brighton. then it was only 3, i really wonder who you are.
you sure dont know as much about SL football as you say you do |

comming into this summer, i thought stevenson was going to have a tough time replacing gudeman, but watching the passing league the other day, i really like
what i saw. this could be a team that could have a good enough passing game to keep teams from putting 8 or 9 guys in the box to stop AW.

Hey I know a sophomore that played for SL varsity! Sean Latrell!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't say Hartland was a RB, I said that's where he belongs. With his physique he'd be a better RB than QB. I'd be happy either way with Gurney or Hartland. |

The fact is that South Lyon has an incoming JV team that was 7-2 as freshmen Lost to Novi because they did not wake up until the second half. I think they were
down 20-0 at half and lost 27-21. Lost last game of the year to Brighton but the JV pulled up some of the key people on that team. The incoming freshmen are
just as good if not better. This year's varsity will be stronger than people think. The future looks strong for South Lyon.
East will be lucky to win 8 games in the next 4 years. That is the truth..

Plus Everyteam in the central is a split school team well...not Novi but everyone else..Better coaches..better players..better

First Hartland will never play runningback
second if zach mohr decides to play he will take the spot, the only reason there is speculation about him is that he asked not to play varsity last year and then he didnt get along well with the jv coach and quit the last week. If he decides to play he will take the qb spot because hes the only one thats ever started besides enright, and people have a lot of repect for him also in 2008 when it was said that novi almost lost to south lyon at the freshman level, thats a joke. the freshman played a bad game and it was still 21-0 and after half laney was so sick of his players messing up he played the second and third string the second half, and they still put up another touchdown, when south lyon woke up they met the 2nd string team Novi actually has good players who got pulled up to varsity as sophmores. Krister Enja played the whole season on varsity and was the leading tackler until he got hurt dan burris did the same thing and started at nose not to mention the other 10 who played a couple games here and there and practiced in the summer |
