Varsity 10 and 2
JV 9 and 0 Offense returns QB , 2 OL , 1 TE , 2 HB Defense returns 2 DB , 2 DL , 1 LB Lots of juniors with game experiance . JV was seriously good , no game was close and the Varsity only had 2 sophmores , the rest of the soph class was allowed to stay down and get game experiance .This might be the best Canton team in 5 years . |

Varsity 7-3 (Loss to Milford week #1, Canton, and then DCC in playoffs)
Novi JV 6-2-1 (Tie with Milford, 7-6 loss to Milford and loss to Canton). I'm in the process of counting how many "starters" will be returning.

Offense - 7 returning starters (RB, FB, WB, WR and 3 OL) Defense - 8 returning starters Sounds like a lot, but there were a lot of injuries last year. 2008 V - Record - 5 - 5 2008 JV - Record - 6 - 3 Not many JR's will be starting next year with maybe the exception of the QB The team will be loaded with SR starters. |

Novi is returning 1 on offense(OL) and 4 on defense(DT, LB, CB, S). Both the kicker(soph this year) and punter(junior this year) return too. The JV team is
loaded with good linemen, backers, tight ends, and fullbacks. Novi will be either a good or mediocre team next year depending on QB play and the wide
receivers. Running back is supposedly not going to be an issue because theres lots of capable bodies to throw out there.
expect a good but nothing spectacular season from the Wildcats in 09. |
