Sounds like Watkins is considering Indiana and Minnesota right now (and would probably jump on a Spartan offer if it comes). The issue with MSU is a numbers game ... as the Spartans only have a few more spots open.
Watkins is rated the #43 Safety in the nation by rivals.com
Watkin's cousin and Livonia Clarenceville LB Jeremy Gainer is also an Indiana commit .. but is also taking a look around and was recently offered by MSU.
Should be interesting to see if they ultimately sign with the same program.
