Football book

My father played, coached and was AD for a major Detroit-area HS and when I showed him this book, his eyes lit up like my boys used to on Christmas morning!

I really liked the amount of good pictures and the fact that most all the important high schools are mentioned in one way or another in the book. It's well worth the purchase if you have a husband, father or son involved in high school footba

Resolved to buy a Kensington Expert Mouse for my MacBook. Always frustrating to use three (trad 2 button on PC) different styles.

After I finished the purchase of that, but inside the 90 minute I saw some recommendations and ended up with three books and Season One of Get Smart (1965). Interested to know if you ended up getting credit for all.

The Kensington yes, the rest I'm not sure. (Probably about 12:45 Friday morning.) Once I went to check-out I had to verify my One-Click which seemed to throw me into the main Amazon site. That's why I thought I'd check with you.

What's the deal with that mouse? Is it that much better than a standard mouse?

The Kensington Expert has a large trackball with a scroll ring, which is very useful in the pressbox as there is often not room to move. It also has four buttons set up on the corners as the thing is about a 5" square. All the buttons are programable plus 'chording' the two top or two bottom, and can be set up by program. So clicking a link with my bottom left button in my browser will open that link in a new tab without switching to the new tab. It is still the most expensive mouse - and it's not wireless - around $85, but it holds up well.

One of the reasons I like it over the Logictech is that since it is square it works just as well for left hand as the right. The logitech is set up for right hand. I use my right hand for a numeric keypad.

Interesting ... luckily I don't know what I'm missing ... I've only used standard mouses (mice?) ... but usually the standard censor pad on a laptop.

MHSAA Football Stats

I'm suppose to get the Rivalry book off of Searn's Amazon Store shopping basket from the older daughter for Christmas (it was discounted by the time that she bought it so it was less than $20 including shipping). So I'm looking forward to see what it looks like since I didn't go to Borders for a preview. There were a couple of other things that I wanted to read about once again and try to do a google search to see what other people had to say about the DVD. But that's for next year I guess.
