First, who said anything about crediting the kicker with greatness for onside kicks? All onside kicks require some assemblance of luck. Of course they got lucky, did you think you were the only one that thought that? However, how lucky were they while committing six turnovers? My post and point was simply they could have quit but didn't. I mean afterall, they didn't recover those onside kicks for touchdowns. They did have to get the ball in the endzone from approx. 50 yards out both times. For someone who just went to watch OK Red teams play, you seem a little upset that both teams are going to Ford Field.

For a team that "farted, failed and dumblucked" themselves to victory they did do a couple things right.

Total yards; 518-373, Muskegon.
Rushing yards; 328-151, Muskegon.
Passing yards; 222-190, Davison.
First Downs; 16-11, Muskegon.

Turnovers; 6-2, Muskegon. (We'll just count those two onside recoveries as turnover for Davison.)

Points resulting from turnovers; Davison 27, Muskegon 13.
