Now that the regular season is coming to an end who do we think is worthy of the title MVP?

I'm just messing around with my picks, although i honestly think Favorite should win KLAA MVP. Without him, Novi would probably be 5-4 or 4-5, no playoffs.
Yesterday, Favorite had 25 rushes for 168 yards in a 7-0 against Pinckney. Against Livonia Stevenson, Favorite scored the GW TD and the 2 pt conversion. He is
the team leader and has led this team throughout the season, even when he was suspended. I saw his stats 2 weeks ago before the Canton game. I believe he had
10 TD's and somewhere around 800-900 yards rushing. Probably over 1,000 by now. Just making my case to why Favorite should be KLAA MVP.

i hate to sound like a complete ass.... but would you guys get off of favorite's reproductive organ for a post or two and look at this question in all
seriousness?
in most situations the mvp will come from either of the two league champs so a howell or a canton player. there is the small chance that it could go to someone else in the league like podvin or heiman or white or favorite (personally i dont think that favorite deserves the honor after his suspension... he obviously dosent show the characer of the league) or vushaj (but agains moral issues from my understanding). but i mean really... i understand your novi fans and you want to support your hometown player... but be objective and contribute something somewhat intelligent to this forum, im glad klaafan at least pointed out that he has been a rushing/recieving threat all season and somewhat backed up his statement. |

when you look at it, you really dont have one outstanding player in the klaa. you have three or four guys that could win it with very impressive resumes.

cantons whole offense is the reason that they won it so its hard to pick an MVP from there. Thats why I think Favorite from Novi is a good choice. In the game
that he didn't play in, Novi almost lost to a mediocre Northville team.. I think Novi has showed that they need him to preform against the big teams such
as Livonia Stevenson for them to get the wins.

Are we talking best player or most valuable? If it's truly most valuable, I nominate DL Jake Thompson from Milford. Started as a sophomore in 2006 for a
district champ that took state finalist Rockford to the brink...and he was all-KVC. Played in first two games in 2007, Milford went 2-0. Then he went down with
a knee injury and missed the last 7 games, during which Milford went 2-5, with those 2 wins both coming against a bad Pinckney team. Played in first 6 games in
2008; Milford went 5-1. He has been out with an injury and Milford has gone 0-3 and what was a great defense has now given up 92 points in its last 3 games.
I'm sure there are other players in the KLAA that, if injured, would cause similar or more severe catastrophic results, but it's at least worth a nomination. ![]() |
