One of the biggest shockers in Week One was UD Jesuit's loss to Lansing Eastern. After the Cubs' performance against Oak Park, I thought for sure that they would easily beat Lansing Eastern. Yet they lost a game that didn't appear to be even close. Now, Oak Park's performance against BBR on Saturday may have revealed the reason why UDJ beat them in the scrimmage. OP is not very good.

I agree with you that Devin Hubbell looks very good. He could start on most teams and should be a dangerous threat for the Cubs this year. I wonder if Cubs fans are upset with me for picking UDJ in an upset over OLSM this week. Had I ignored the game, we could have seen an upset. But, I hear GP has posted my pick on the Eaglet's bulletin board and they no longer will overlook the Cubbies. That spells blowout for OLSM. I'm rooting for the Cubs to rejuvinate their football program and a win over OLSM would be a great place to start. OLSM is vulverable right now and if you can bottle up OLSM's running game as well as you did against Oak Park, it could be a game.
