Searn, great job putting this together, and I thought all of the rankings were fantastic. It's great to see everyone taking the time to do this. I guess our (MichiganPreps) Inkster pick doesn't look so bad right now since they just beat Zeeland West at Zeeland West, the first time they've lost there in something like 7 or 8 years. But, even more interesting was the fact that we were the only one in that group to pick EGR over OLSM, and boy did they administer a beatdown. 49-14 EGR. We also got some heat about the Flint SWA pick at #10, but they just beat a very good Midland Dow team. We'll see on that one. They have a fantastic line, and I can't wait to see them play OLSM. You're right, we didn't have Lowell or Adams in our top 10, but they were both in the Top 25, so we certainly meant no disrespect to either of those teams. Lowell had a great game against Davison tonight.

I don't know if everyone knows, but we moved MichiganEliteFootball.com to MichiganPreps.com during the off-season, so things are pretty different now. We're incredibly interested in high school football state-wide, and we're putting in a lot of "homework" time. It's certainly possible that Inkster doesn't finish #1 (in fact, the way EGR played, Inkster may not be #1 for long), but with 4 D1 players on the field, Coach Carter calling the plays, and the fact that they were undefeated last season, I'm surprised no one else even had them in their top 7.

I wish we could see all of the Top 25 listings. That would get really interesting. Searn, I was going to tell you not to include Novi in there, but it was too late. I'll take complete blame for not looking out.
