I've got Howell on this one ... although the vote about how they are going to split should happen soon. There are a ton of options on the table for how
they're going to do this, but only 2 or 3 logical ones that I saw ...

Sorry Milford your reign of terror is over, especially with the new coach. Not saying he's bad but development will be taken into consideration all over
again.

Is Howell Parker out? I hear it's a 9th grade only school. Michigan-football.com no longer has them listed.

This may or may not be 100% accurate. Heard this from a parent of a Howell HS Parent.
Howell Parker will not be opening and the students will be back in the renovated old Howell High School ... with separate freshmen campus. (not at Parker)
Something about $$$ being an issue and they don't have enough money to operate both high schools.
The new Parker building will likely be used for something like night classes or other community classes until (if ever) they decide to open it as a high school. .... I also heard something about possibly selling it to a college or something to that extent but I don't know how accurate any of that is. The only thing I know for sure is the school is not opening as of now.

I've heard the same rumblings as Searn.
Either way, I have to take Howell here. They have coaching, a solid senior class coming in and good youth to back it up. Hartland is hyping one of it's better teams there in years. Milford should be near the top. Every few years, Pinckney will string together some impressive performances... but this doesn't seem to be one of those years. Oh, and Brighton seems to have fallen and can't get up. |
