Well if you're going to state so, give a reason. They Beat Davison and they are still ranked. So you're saying it was just a luck of the draw in the POs? Lowell will give ANOTHER barometer for the Chemics. Give them their due. Again, how many game have you seen of them this year? Just the one?

Look, I love Midland getting this far and making the SVL look great. But they just don't have that look to them ala BCW 04/05 and Saginaw 00/01 who were the dominant teams in the conference and known as state powers. Midland, for all intensive purposes, has snuck this far into the playoffs. To look at it in a general sense, it's really kind of sad that an SVL team doesn't get this far more often. Every year, 3/4 SVL teams get stuck in one district and have to beat up on each other in the first 2 rounds...after that, it's 1 more win and you're 1 game away from Detroit. So I guess, yes, in a way I'm saying that Midland got an easy draw by just being the team that made it out of the SVL district gauntlet and then took a Davison team by surprise. You can't deny that if Cowan was anywhere close to on his game, Davison doesn't win that. Cowan looked HORRIBLE, and it was all on himself. Midland stacked the box and stopped the run, and Cowan just plain wasn't on his game to complete the passes that were open.

Again, I really want Midland to win and keep going, but I have a not-so-sneaky feeling that Davison would give Lowell a better game.
