Colonel, do you have the schedules? Is there a place where I can view them? I just want to see the big cross over games.. Like a Milford vs Canton or something
like that

I don't have them, but if you e-mail one of the ADs, they might send it to you. If they don't, threaten to FOIA their ass.
I do know that Milford's cross-overs are Novi and South Lyon at the beginning, then Lakeland at the end. So, for all intents and purposes, Milford is still in the KVC. There are a couple of interesting ones, though. Because Parker will not be open next year, the KLAA has a deal with the SEC to randomly draw b/c AA Huron will be in the SEC, but AA Skyline will not have a varsity squad for a couple years. The teams have the freedom to not participate and go schedule their own games, but not after participating in the draw. Milford participated and drew Saline. I am disappointed that the league is not doing a championship game, and chose to go with a "rivalry" game instead. As for the week 8 or week 9 crossover (whichever it is, I forget), if Milford draws Walled Lake Central, their schedule will be almost exactly the same. If Milford draws Lakeland, they could play them back-to-back. I don't think a Canton-Milford game will be happening outside of the playoffs anytime soon. ![]() |

sure, both the wlaa and kvc have been watered down this year, but the powerhouse teams did show their true colors at the end of the season, aka stevenson
franklin..., and partially churchill, who did come close to beating novi, and plymouth, ill give you guys lakeland over western
but novi never really had any blowout games this entire season, the all have been close, stevenson on the other hand, has blownout all their teams (besides plymouth and franklin) but both these teams hail from the wlaa im pretty sure stevenson would have gone undefeated in the kvc too, who else would have come closer? |

What's even funnier is you said the WLAA is watered down this year. That almost made me split my gut. Have you watched the WLAA OR KVC prior
to....say.....2004???? This is arguably, the strongest the WLAA has been in years. It used to be just Canton. The KVC didn't live up to expectations this
year, but I disagree about the WLAA. With the exception of Canton 2 years ago, WLW in 99 & 96, and long since departed FHH...........this is by FAR the
most success the WLAA has had in the playoffs.

It's not going to come as our pleasure to have our fellow "leaguers" in the same forum. Powerhouse teams? I never knew Livonia Schools were
traditional powerhouses? And westernlakesdominate as I said before and will say again, the only reason Stevenson "might" have went undefeated in the
KVC this year was due to the down year, that team, any other year IMO would have had a tough road, for example put that team in last years KVC, they would have
been beaten a few times. Its probably a down year for the WLAA seeming as Livonia Schools dominated, I can think of a few teams from the past, that simply
would have smoked you guys. You are not the KVC even though your new conference begins with Kensington, it's going to be a pleasure to play with
all the Western-Lakes teams, but I liked our league just fine.

LHS, what's funny is....there are 2 (almost 3) teams with more playoff wins INDIVIDUALLY than ALL three Livonia schools combined....now they are
Powerhouses???? I guess when history begins in someones mind in the year 2007, things can get skewered.

what i dont understand, is why you guys are taking away from the success of the teams of this season, by mentions the faults of past seasons, i am taking about
the teams that played this year, that battled for their wins, and deserved their records,
you guys are right if you are talking about football programs, but i am talking about the teams that this season went out and got their work done, and earned their wins, thats all that should accounts for this season. and also, i don't agree with ur excuse of, the KVC being "watered down" this year, anyone can make that excuse. -sometimes have to win, and those teams take wins away from the lossers, and it seemed KVC had a couple solid teams - i could say the WLAA is "down" because of teams like central (2-7), northern(0-9), northville (1-8), and salem(1-8) - but i could also say thats its strong because previously strong teams like canton, failed to make the playoffs in 8 years, and despite returning many key players from last year's succesful team, central struggled in the wlaa this year, but teams emerged to be strong including western, plymouth, and the livonia 3. - and for the comment about, "the wlaa must be watered down, because the livonia schools dominated", i still see livonia represented in the state playoffs, so does that mean the state playoffs are watered down this year too? and LHS, i wonder when writing the comment about "cake teams" you remembered the stevenson-novi game last week, and if you dont consider 21 points a blowout, remember that it was against a strong novi team, which was its worst defecit of the whole season... |

I have a lot to say. I'll wait for now. Stevenson did manage to beat one of the top 10-12 teams in Novi history with the assistance of 4 turnovers. I'm guessing this is the best team in Stevenson history. Good Job Stevenson! Way to beat the 5th best Novi team in the last 7 years! |

im more shocked then anyone about stevenson
i thought they be out in the first round there are at least 5 teams i can say in the kvc who have had more success then stevenson in the playoffs novi milford brighton howell south lyon is stevenson a powerhouse hell no they have had one good year are they better overall in the last 10 years then the team mentioned above hell no but they where this year and im shocked and happy and every high school fan needs to give credit where it is dued i dont even know if they will beat troy i have my doubts \ but i will not take away anything from novi stevenson or any high school team thats made it this far last year was last year 10 years was 10 years ago now is now and now the kvc is sitting at home watching after a great year for many teams and stevenson is playing and im very proud of that team |

Did I mention that Novi was KVC champs at the JV, Freshman, and Middle school level? Frankly, Novi wasn't even supposed to contend for a conference title
this year, so I have no problem with a second round loss in the playoffs. Congrats Stevenson! Keep it rolling.

Next year Stevenson travels to Novi. It'll be interesting to see how good they are with just one White brother

next year should be very intersting, the class of 09' for stevenson has a regular season record of (freshmen, jv, varsity (jr. year)) 26-1 (with a loss
only to churchill(frosh year), churchill class of '09 has a regular season records of 23-4 9 (with reg. season losses to wayne(frosh year), stevenson(jv
year), stevenson(varsity- jr. year), and franklin(varsity-jr. year). It should be interesting playing in the new conference next year,
but stevenson, franklin, and churchill should still provide strong teams |
