Regarding possible playoff runs - I don't know. Lake City and Evart are both 3-0 and ranked in their divisions (7 or 6?), Beal City, Pine River and Marion are 2-1 and McBain and Manton are 0-3.

I haven't seen any team but Beal yet as they begin league play this Friday. I've seen all 3 games they played and they look OK - but it's hard to tell from the level of the competition from Carrollton and White Cloud. Although we lost to Clare, it was only 9-0. The defense was pretty good, but absolutely no rhythm on offense until the 2nd half and then it seemed to fall apart as soon as we were anywhere near the goal line. We play Lake City on Friday, at Lake City so that should be interesting. If we suffer any injuries it will kill us as we were down to 17 players last Friday - only 18 on the team this year.
