I think JG has the talent to contend in the South, but they've got to get their offense together. Scales was an excellent QB, but I thought the offense
was too dependant on him last year. Hopefully, it didn't hurt the development of their underclassmen too much.

I didnt say you watched all of them either but they had a tremendous defense last year that kept them in every game they played in even though the offense
scored 14 or less in 5 games last year. In all fairness, you said you wanted stats in your post and the most important stat is points allowed.......that makes
a great defense.......I will not excuse glenn from being a mediocre team last year because that is what they were but their defense was top of the league with
some amazing teams in...

The saying "defense wins championships" makes the assumption that the offense will at least break into the double digits. And of glenn's five
loses they only scored more than 7 points once; and twice they were completely shut-out. I think John Madden said it best, "In order to win a game of
football you have to score more than the other guy." And last season glenn's offense was not doing them any favors.

You are lying about watching the games then.........they allowed 120 points all season which would make them the #1 defense in the league.......they did
however have one of the worst offenses in the league which is why they were 4 and 5.....they lost to mott on an interception return for a touchdown but allowed
zero on defense and to pinkney 7 to 0. So the offense was really bad......I understand if that is what you mean but defense was number 1........check your

even so, having 5 good players doesn't make a team. Novi rarely has a Tyler Hoover type talent, yet produces good teams year in year out based on strong

from Powers Catholic who is 6'2 260 who will start at left tackle. I would bet that the OL only gave up a handfull of sacks in the last two years. Our OL
