I sure hope the weather is better in Otsego then it is down here or else it could be a very cold and miserable semifinal game.

Ok, the MHSAA has changed two semifinal locations today after I had already did a new spreadsheet for the semifinals. So you better make sure that you go to the right location and look it up on Friday to double check that they haven't changed again.

It seemed that there were some new choices to hold the semis this year. I was going to form a new semifinal chart with both the year and the division that the site held the game for.

I'll double check on your game. I did use online links or the Oakland Press at the Lake Orion library as my resources this spring and that is what I came up with for my semifinal locations. So I'll go to Pontiac to see what the Detroit News or Free Press says.

Well we have 2 games on Astro, 1 game on natural grass, 2 games on uhm lets say really really really good grass. MSU put in grass a few years ago and did it with the pallet system. It makes for an awesome grass playing surface. If you could do grass any method thats the method I would do. Although its really expensive. BTW the rest are on Infill turf. I would say this year its pretty good. I still like to see Ferris game moved to CMU but ferris is probally a better middle ground. Although I...

the EGR-Lakeshore game will be held at Otsego next Saturday if I heard the announcement right at the game today, here's to hoping its a close game unlike last years EGR-St Joe game

I didn't see Hillsdale College on the list of facilities to host semi final games in the past. Last fall they hosted the D-6 game between Leslie & Blissfield.

Let's hope the MHSAA does not continue with their policy of having a semi-final site in Lansing. There are now too many outstanding fiacilities available in this state that now have the most modern of turf surfaces. The GR area has as many has five sites - five more then Lansing.

Anyone have any idea where the hypothetical location would be, should East Grand Rapids and Saint Joseph both take care of business and meeting in the semis? I haven't made it to a game in Michigan in two years now, but that one potentially wouldn't be too far to drive from Chicago. It's also the week after Michigan's season will mercifully end, and I'll need a football fix. Thanks for anyone who can help out.
