There has been very little information coming out so far in the newspapers. I don't recall fewer articles online at this time. Even the Lansing State Journal did their preseason writeup in the newspaper only as I couldn't locate it online today. It appears that the Allegan newspaper as per my blog link did the best job so far.

The Battle Creek Enquirer will have theirs out on Opening Day - Thursday, August 28th.

Once again, the laziest sports department in Michigan....

The Morning Sun (Mt. Pleasant) preview came out on Saturday the 23rd and previews Mt. Pleasant, Sacred Heart Academy, Ithaca, Chippewa Hills, Alma, Montabella, Shepherd, Clare, Harrison, Fulton, Breckenridge, Coleman, Carson City-Crystal, Farwell, Ashley, Beal City, Vestaburg, and St. Louis. I didn't like this preview as much as previous years - no rosters or pictures of each team, but it was somewhat informative. I don't know if it is available on-line.

Hmmm....I even called the Chronical to ask em when it comes out. It would be nice if it was the week before the season and not the day before the first games. Oh well.

The Muskegon Chronicle football preview comes out Wednesday the 27th I believe, not the 20th. Well I hope it doesn't come the 20th because that's today and I didn't get one with my paper haha .

Seems like most papers go for the middle of next week. I know the Det FP & News, GR Press & Kalamazoo Gazette usually publish fairly good sections. Online versions have been getting better each year.

Muskegon area Football preview comes out on Wed the 20th. Usually gives the rosters, a story on one of the athletes, and players to watch for. I think the Muskegon Chronicle does a good job with this. Any other previews come out that your aware of? Are they viewable online?
