Het ftballer67 I hope you are right, and that last years success carries over into this upcoming season. I do believe that the near future looks bright at CC even if next year they struggle. In another matter does anybody have info regarding the CC scheduole? I don't believe they will be playing ND prep, which opens up the schedule for more competive games, and they should also have a date to fill during the season with the absence of U of D from the schedule.

I was one of the people that voted for CC. I will admit that outside of Dakota, CC is right up there as far as programs that I admire, respect and tend to root for when they are not playing a MAC team. While it is probably not likely that they finish with the most wins I think CC reestablished themselves last year and will carry some momentum into next saeson. I know there out of conference schedule is not tough and if they get a win or 2 against BR,OLSM or DLS they could be 6-3 or 7-2...

i like your picks for Rice and for st marys except i would say gabe charrete for the tackle spot instead of the junior brimer and the goryoka kid didnt even start on jv. Give pat kendrick a chance at guard he played alot in the playoffs last year but for rice i would say ur dead on in my opinion.

It looks like OLSM will return one starter on the O-Line; BBR will have two returning starters. Both schools will reload with a wealth of talent from last year's back-ups and JV players. BBR could benefit from the return to football by a top-level baseball player who starred in football as a Freshman, but didn't play last year....

Yes, I did catch the finals, and Huron did have an "off" game. I think it was three things:

1. The players were wowed by the stage.
2. Letdown after beating the 13th ranked team in the nation.
3. CC was better than Rockford, and Huron wasn't ready for that.

Speaking of Stevenson that year, I watched the film of the Stevenson-CC game and Stevenson gave CC the game with a muffed punt in the final minutes. I thought Stevenson was the better team, but...

This "CC slappy" voted for OLSM. Not that I believe that is necessarily the case in the regular season, but when you factor in the playoffs, I give OLSM the nod.

The 13 players I referred as started for DLS, actually started a game. If Popp started five games then he is considered a returning starter. Also, you were correct about Ramirez getting kicked out of DLS and Pitts transferred to Det. Southeastern but I was not counting them as returning starters. The players that will be missed and must be replaced are Torzy, Chad O, Macleod, and Blackburn. The others will be replaced with better players. Sorgi will most likely move to weak OLB and Shane...

In Week 7 against Rice, I had Todd Culling, Steve O'Shell, Josh Teno and Ben Hayes as the D Line starters. I originally didn't count O'Shell as a returning starter because I had him mixed up with Chad O'Shell. I just noticed that after you said Steve was a starter. I didn't have Matt Privet as a starter, but someone who played a lot. Same for Chet Privett. On the O-Line I had Lamberti, Sciuto, King, Bergen and MacLeod as the starters. I believe King...
