I am switching it over to here since I think that it is going to get controversial, but don't think that Searn will delete it unlike mdead.

Basically just by the Romeo school district linking to the website, they are endorsing what is on the website despite what the disclaimer claims. Would the school district get away with a dsclaimer if they had links to pro slavery, pro KKK, pro Holocaust, etc? I don't think so. I made extreme topics to prove my point, not that I like any...

Accommodations for Finals

This year, I'm planning on watching all eight football finals in person. It will be my first time seeing D1, D7 and all of the even divisions, and I'm really looking forward to it.

For those who travel from outside the metro Detroit area, where do you stay? For those in the Detroit area, where do you recommend (general areas or specific hotels)?

I asked for recommendations earlier, and somebody said to check out the casinos in Detroit. But the cheapest room I found...

Why Muskegon Beats Lowell.......(again)

Lowell will not be able to run the ball effectively against Muskegon Friday night. The Big Red's defense directed by Shane Fairfield will once again send 7-8 players hell-bent every play and stuff the Red Arrows #1 option, the running game. Athletically, Lowell has taken a step back from last year losing Nichols and Boss offensively. I know, I know - you'll say, "what does last year have to do with it. " You'll say, "Muskegon lost Hannett, Banks," etc....

I have placed the Over-Under for the Lowell v Muskegon game at 37. Pick the Over-Under and then predict the winning team's total points. It was a great Halloween night. I passed out all 210 candies that we had purchased for the event. Then, I passed out 20 or so small chips bags that the family buys once in a while for a backup plan (after the 7pm deadline as well but I don't like to see kids go without). It has come out already that Allen could potentially be in 5AD2 for the playoffs even if they are the 4th largest school in the state. This is what happens with a convulated system whereby teams are seeded by the SEN instead of the won loss record from the district results.
